In cases where applications exceed available places, the school applies a rank-order selection process based on academic achievement, with priority given to pupils from Lurgan Junior High School, those with siblings currently enrolled, or those for whom the school is the nearest suitable non-denominational grammar school. The school also considers applications under Special Circumstances or Special Provisions for pupils whose academic performance has been impacted by medical or other significant issues.
