About the campus

The 26-acre campus in Northeast Baltimore features the 37,000 sq. ft. Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Auditorium, the Dorothy Williams Bunting Science Center with advanced labs, and the Sister Marie Foley College Counseling Center. Athletic facilities include the Sisters of Mercy Athletic Complex with a turf field, the Mary Anne Heckwolf ’66 Field for softball, and a gymnasium with the Mary Ella Marion ’76 Court. Additional spaces include a library with 7,300 volumes, a digital media lab and MakerSpace, a renovated Visual Arts Studio, and a chapel.

Co-curriculars

Students participate in a wide range of clubs and organizations, as well as 20 athletic teams across 12 sports, including basketball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, and cross country. The performing arts program features six ensembles, and students can engage in activities like the literary magazine, The Lance; the school newspaper, The Shield; and the yearbook, The Garnet. Athletics are supported by the "Magic Nation" community, with tryouts held seasonally.

She was selected for a Klingenstein Fellowship at Columbia University’s Teachers College in 2020 and is recognized as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women.
