Teaching approach

MILE Bilingual School focuses on nurturing curious, confident, and empathetic global citizens through a bilingual and inclusive environment. The school values academic excellence, creativity, and the development of life skills such as critical thinking, leadership, and digital literacy. It employs innovative methods, including the Bruno Munari method for creativity and flipped classrooms, to foster independent and active learning.

The school offers a continuous bilingual pathway from Nursery (ages 1-3) through Kindergarten (ages 3-5), Primary School (ages 6-11), and Lower Secondary School (ages 11-14). The curriculum is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) and certified by Cambridge International, with core subjects taught in both English and Italian. From Primary school onwards, students may also explore a third language, such as Spanish, French, Chinese, or German.

Outcomes

Students consistently achieve results above the national average in Invalsi tests and perform strongly in Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary Checkpoints. The bilingual curriculum prepares graduates for entry into prestigious upper secondary schools and universities in Italy and abroad.
