Woodstock School

Woodstock School is committed to a whole-life educational experience that shapes character, forms values, and prepares students for lives of meaning and service. The school is transitioning to a new academic framework: Grades 6–8 follow a standards-based Middle School programme; Grades 9–10 will offer the Cambridge IGCSE; and senior years will feature the Woodstock Diploma alongside Advanced Placement (AP) courses. The curriculum integrates academic study with project-based learning, outdoor education, creativity, service, and leadership. Music education is also a significant component, with offerings in band, orchestra, choir, and Indian classical music.

Woodstock graduates attend a wide variety of universities globally, with a majority typically pursuing studies in the United States and Europe. Alumni are active in diverse fields, including music, art, science, business, entrepreneurship, social service, and development. The school maintains a high student retention rate, fostering long-term bonds within the community.

The school provides an English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme to support students who require language assistance. The 2026-27 academic year begins with new student orientation on 31 July 2026, followed by the start of classes on 6 August 2026. The calendar includes a fall break in November, a winter break from mid-December to mid-January, and a spring break in March. The academic year concludes with commencement ceremonies on 22 May 2027.

Located in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, at an elevation between 6,500 and 7,500 feet, the campus features heritage spaces and modern facilities. Key areas include Parker Hall, an outdoor learning centre, and various sports facilities. The school provides residential life for students, supported by a health centre and student services.

The school offers over 100 enrichment opportunities, including sports such as basketball, cricket, swimming, rock climbing, and field hockey.
