The school emphasizes technical understanding, digital excellence, and innovation across all its programmes. The educational approach is designed to prepare students for both future workplaces and further academic studies.

The school offers the Teknikprogrammet (with specializations in Design and Product Development, and Information and Media Technology), the El- och energiprogrammet (specializing in Computer and Communication Technology), and the Gymnasieingenjörsprogrammet (specializing in Software Design). Additionally, it provides the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, which begins with a one-year PreDP preparatory year followed by the two-year Diploma Programme. The IB curriculum includes subjects such as Computer Science, Visual Arts, Mathematics HL, and Japanese Ab Initio.

The school provides extra support in mathematics and English for students who require assistance to stay on track. A special education teacher and a school counselor are available as part of the student health team to provide guidance and support.

Prospective students apply through the regional gymnasieantagningen portal. For the IB Diploma Programme, the school conducts an entrance process that includes a mathematics test, an English proficiency test, and an interview to assess motivation and suitability. Applicants are invited to an Admissions Day during the spring term.

The school operates on a two-term system. For the 2026-2027 academic year, the autumn term begins on August 17 for years 1 and 2, and August 18 for year 3. The spring term commences on January 7, 2027, with the school year concluding in June.

The campus is located near the Skövde town center with proximity to public transport. It features a dedicated makerspace equipped with 3D printers, VR equipment, lasers, and robotics components. Additionally, the school provides its own restaurant and gym facilities for student use.

The school hosts a variety of student-led activities, including a Halloween event and the IB CAS Hike. A weekly Creative Workshop is held on Wednesday evenings, providing a space for board games, arts and crafts, and social interaction. Students also have access to the school's makerspace for private projects outside of scheduled coursework.
