Origins School

Origins operates on the belief that each student is a worthy human being and a necessary partner in a program designed for their future in a democratic society. The school aims to provide positive direction in an environment that offers intellectual, moral, athletic, aesthetic, and social opportunities, fostering independent learners who are civically minded and career-ready.

The school offers a continuous educational pathway from playgroup through to Class 11. The curriculum aligns with the British National Curriculum during the primary years, followed by the Cambridge Secondary 1 programme, ultimately leading to O Level qualifications.

The school assesses older students in English and Mathematics to determine the appropriate level of support and placement. It remains flexible in considering individual circumstances and the unique journey of each child.

The admissions process is child-centred and begins with registration at the Senior School campus, requiring a copy of the child's birth certificate. For playgroup and pre-nursery, the process includes parent interviews, while nursery and older students undergo assessments in English and Mathematics alongside interviews. Decisions are based on seat availability, previous school records, and the child's overall development.

Parent interviews for playgroup and pre-nursery admissions are held in December and January for the upcoming academic year, which begins in August. Registrations are accepted on weekdays between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.
