Per Brahegymnasiet

Per Brahegymnasiet emphasizes student engagement and participation, working systematically to ensure students have influence over their education and the school's development. It fosters an environment where students from diverse backgrounds and cultures can learn from one another.

The school offers several upper secondary programmes, including the Economics Programme (Ekonomiprogrammet), Arts Programme (Estetiska programmet), Humanities Programme (Humanistiska programmet), Natural Science Programme (Naturvetenskapsprogrammet), Social Science Programme (Samhällsvetenskapsprogrammet), and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. The IB programme is taught in English. Additionally, the school is an Erasmus+ accredited institution, providing students with international experiences.

The school provides a dedicated student health service (Elevhälsa) for students who need to speak with someone other than a teacher or classmate. This service also offers extra adjustments or special support for those who require it, alongside general health guidance.

Prospective students must follow standard application procedures for the school's various programmes. For the Estetiska programmet (Arts Programme), applicants are required to complete and pass a skills test to be eligible for admission.

The school year typically commences in August, welcoming both new students in their first year and returning students in their second and third years.

The school is housed in a historic main building that celebrated its centenary in 2013. On-site facilities include a library that provides study spaces and assistance with digital tools, as well as a school restaurant and café that serve varied meals to students and staff.
