Britt Academy employs a humanistic approach that merges science with human consciousness to foster social and emotional development. The school is committed to the UN 2030 Sustainability Goals, teaching students to care for the environment through a transdisciplinary learning ecosystem. The school follows the Mexican National Curriculum, delivered through the transdisciplinary Knotion Education platform, which focuses on three hubs: Communication and Expression, Scientific Perspective, and Social Participation. The curriculum integrates core subjects like Spanish, English, Maths, and Science with mandatory Robotics and Global Citizenship for all ages. High school students additionally study business and enterprise skills, including finance, marketing, and sales.

The curriculum equips them with essential life skills, including problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, and business acumen such as finance, marketing, and sales. A dedicated language school provides extra tuition to ensure all students achieve true bilingualism in English and Spanish. Many teachers are bilingual to facilitate complete immersion in both languages.

The admissions process begins with an online enquiry, followed by a personal school tour. Applicants must submit an online application via the school portal, providing a copy of the child’s birth certificate and passport, parents' passports, and the child’s most recent school report. The school may require an entry test or a personal interview before issuing a formal offer of a place.

The school office is open Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00, including during school holidays.

The purpose-built campus features bright, open classrooms, a dance studio, a technology room, a robotics space, and a central hall for community gatherings. Outdoor facilities include a child-led play area for younger students, sports courts, and a swimming pool. The school is situated in a quiet, safe area near the jungle, providing opportunities for students to observe local biodiversity.

The school offers an extra-curricular programme that includes activities such as beach clean-ups to learn about local ecosystems. Students also participate in project-based challenges, such as "Shark Tank" for entrepreneurial skills and the production of news programmes to develop communication and digital editing abilities.
