The school offers a hybrid curriculum for Kindergarten (ages 2½–5½) inspired by Montessori and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The Prep School (ages 5½–10½) follows the Cambridge Curriculum (Key Stages 1 and 2), while the Middle School (ages 11–14) follows the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum. The High School (ages 14–17½) offers IGCSEs in Key Stage 4 and AS/A-Levels, with a wide selection of subjects including sciences, humanities, languages, and creative arts.

Premier Academy has a history of academic excellence, with students consistently achieving high results in international examinations. The school reports that students have been awarded over KSh 77 million in university scholarships, reflecting the impact of the Careers Department’s personalised mentorship and guidance.

The school provides student support services, including counselling and remedial sessions, to ensure students remain on track. The Registrar’s Office manages all admissions and student records. Prospective students for the Prep and Secondary sections must sit for entrance examinations to assess academic readiness, and successful candidates may be invited for an interview or orientation. Admission decisions are based on age, assessment outcomes, and space availability, with the primary intake in September and limited consideration for January.

The academic year typically begins in late August. The 2025/2026 calendar includes three terms: the first term runs from late August to early December, the second from early January to early April, and the third from late April to early July. Each term includes scheduled half-term breaks and vacation periods.

The campus is located on Prof. Wangari Maathai Road in Nairobi and features a disabled-friendly environment. Facilities include six ultra-modern computer labs, nine high-tech science laboratories, three swimming pools, and various sports grounds for cricket, hockey, football, and basketball. Additionally, the school provides well-equipped libraries, a computerised resource centre, and canteen services.

Students participate in various clubs and programmes, such as the President’s Award, charity fundraisers, and arts competitions like the Kenya Orchid Society Art Competition. The school also hosts events such as sports days and cultural celebrations like Diwali festivities.
