Punahou School

Founded in 1841, the school is committed to educating students to become the next generation of leaders and innovators. The school integrates social, emotional, and ethical learning into its K – 12 framework.

The academic program spans Kindergarten through Grade 12, structured through the Junior School and the Academy. The curriculum includes core subjects alongside specialized pathways such as Hawaiian Studies, Design Technology and Engineering, and global education. Students may also participate in the Global Online Academy and various arts programs, including drama, theatre, fine arts, music, and dance.

Athletics are considered an extension of the classroom, with sports offerings including air riflery, baseball, basketball, bowling, canoe paddling, cheerleading, cross country, flag football, football, golf, judo, kayaking, precision air riflery, sailing, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling.
