The International School of Iceland is a private, not-for-profit institution in Garðabær that provides an international education for the children of the diplomatic and business community, as well as local residents. Admissions

    Hanna has been with ISI since 2007, serving as Assistant Headmistress before becoming Headmistress in 2013. She holds an MA in Education Administration and Leadership from the University of Iceland and has extensive experience in both the private sector and educational leadership.

    Elísa Ósk holds a Masters degree in Special Education and a B.Sc. in psychology. She has worked as a behavioral instructor for children with special needs since 2012.

    Berta founded the International School of Iceland in 2004. She holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and has extensive international teaching experience.

    Kirsten has more than 20 years of teaching experience in Europe and the United States and holds an MA in Elementary School Education. She is also the Art Department Head at ISI and a certified Forest School teacher.
