The academic programme is structured into Foundation Years (Grades 6-8), Middle Years (Grades 9-10), and Senior Years (Grades 11-12). The curriculum includes IGCSE qualifications, the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP), and the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP), with specific pathways available for local Dutch students. Subjects offered include Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Learning Technology, BTEC Business, and a wide range of languages such as English, Dutch, French, German, Spanish, and Chinese.

Students at the school consistently achieve academic success across the Foundation Years, IGCSE qualifications, and the IB Diploma and Career-related Programmes. The curriculum is designed to develop vital academic, interpersonal, and self-management skills, preparing students to thrive as global citizens. Graduates are supported by a dedicated careers and higher education guidance programme.

The school maintains a Learning Diversity Programme to support students with individual educational needs. Additionally, it provides ESL/EAL programmes to assist students who are not fluent in English, and all teachers are trained to support English language learners within the classroom.

The school manages admissions through an online process via OpenApply, requiring an interview with the Head of Years for prospective students. It is a semi-private institution that adheres to Dutch Ministry of Education eligibility guidelines, primarily serving students residing in the Netherlands due to parental employment. While there is no application fee, the school does not provide visa sponsorship or boarding facilities.

The academic year at the school runs from late August or early September through mid-July. The calendar includes scheduled breaks and events such as a dedicated Trip Week.

The school operates across two central Rotterdam locations: a Junior Campus on Bentincklaan and a Senior Campus on Schimmelpenninckstraat. The campus features well-equipped science laboratories designed for hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Students also have access to library resources and dedicated spaces for music and physical education.

The school offers a variety of extra-curricular activities, including student clubs, the International Award, and a music school.
