Admissions
The admissions process begins with an online application and the payment of an application fee. Prospective families are encouraged to attend events and tour the 89-acre campus. Following the application, families must schedule admission testing, which commences on October 1, and submit necessary transfer forms from the student's current school. The school offers a Flexible Tuition Program, which includes need-based aid, sibling discounts, and merit scholarships for newly enrolled middle school students.

About the campus
St. James Academy is situated on an 89-acre campus located 9 miles from Hunt Valley. Campus facilities include the Susan Tucker Moore Theatre, a gymnasium, Macdonald Hall, and a pony ring. Academic and outdoor spaces feature classrooms, a science lab, a lower school gathering pavilion, an outdoor classroom, tennis courts, and three athletic fields: Ebs Field, Connor Kohls Field, and the Lower Athletic Field.
Co-curriculars

Middle school students may participate in the Student Leadership Council, a peer-elected group that organizes fundraisers and school dances.
