Sceptre College

The college offers a two-year A Level programme consisting of AS and A2 levels, with the flexibility to join at either stage or pursue retakes. Students must take a minimum of three subjects, with options for accelerated courses—such as Urdu—that can be completed in one year. Available subjects include Accounting, Art & Design, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English Language, English Literature, Further Maths, History, Law, Mathematics, Media Studies, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Thinking Skills, Travel & Tourism, and Urdu.

The college provides dedicated counselling departments covering academic, university, personal, and sports guidance. Students benefit from one-on-one sessions with faculty and associate teachers to address subject-related queries and academic performance. University counsellors assist students with career choices, university applications, and meeting deadlines.

Prospective students can apply by submitting a hard copy application at the campus or via an online form. The process includes an interview with a panel, which requires the presence of a parent or guardian and the submission of original documents. Successful applicants receive either a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.

The college operates Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The academic programme is structured as a two-year A Level course, comprising one AS Level year and one A2 Level year.

The purpose-built campus features a library with reading, independent study, and group study sections, as well as a Virtual Reality (VR) room equipped with Oculus Rift goggles. Science and computer labs are provided alongside an art room, a covered outdoor swimming pool, a multi-purpose sports court, and a gym with a professional trainer. Students also have access to a cafeteria and two common rooms equipped with seating, cable television, and gaming consoles.

The college mandates a co-curricular module for all students to develop soft skills and personality. Offerings include entrepreneurship, theatre, debating, and language courses such as German. Students receive certification for their achievements in these programmes at the end of each year.
