The school's mission is to provide a caring and cooperative environment where the "Seabreeze Family" strives to help everyone realize their individual potential. The school offers a diverse academic program that includes specialized academies such as the Allied Health Academy, Agriculture Academy, Academy of Digital Design, and Culinary Academy. Students have access to Cambridge curriculum, Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses, and dual enrollment opportunities. The school also provides online learning options and on-the-job training programs to support various student pathways.

Seabreeze High School has been recognized as a top 20 high school in Florida and the number one high school in Volusia County. The school's athletic program has received the Fred E. Rozelle Sportsmanship Award from the Florida High School Athletic Association.

The school provides a clinic staffed by a nurse to manage student health needs, including emergency care plans and the administration of prescription medication. Guidance counselors are available to assist with academic planning, and the school maintains a "Seabreeze Closet" to provide students with clothing, hoodies, and formal wear as needed. Technology support is available for students, including a 1:1 device program.

Enrollment is managed through the Volusia County Schools Parent Portal, where parents must create an account to submit applications and provide required documentation. Mandatory documents include an original birth certificate, immunization records (HRS 680), a Florida physical form (DH3040), two proofs of residence, and the student's Social Security card. Families must also provide academic history, such as transcripts or report cards, and any relevant ESE or 504 plans. Prospective families should verify their zoned school via the district's interactive maps before beginning the registration process.

The school operates on a standard academic calendar with specific orientation sessions held in the summer for incoming students. The school office is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Early checkouts are permitted until 30 minutes prior to the end of the school day.

The campus includes a main office, a media center for laptop distribution, a gymnasium, and a wrestling room. The school provides lockers and PE facilities, and students are required to display ID badges while on campus.
