The curriculum is divided into Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, with a strong emphasis on Engineering and Business specialisms. KS4 students study core subjects—Maths, English, and Science—alongside options such as Computer Science, Product Design, Geography, Media, and Sport. KS5 students can pursue a Triple Engineering qualification, various BTEC vocational courses, or traditional A-levels in subjects including Physics, Maths, and Computer Science, all supported by project-based learning and employer engagement.

Graduates from the school pursue diverse pathways, with recent data indicating that 40% of students progress to university, 33% enter employment, and 26% move into apprenticeships. Applications for Year 10 and Sixth Form are made directly to the school. The admissions process for Year 10 closes on 31st December, while Sixth Form applications close in late February, with late applications considered on a case-by-case basis. All Sixth Form offers are conditional upon achieving required GCSE grades, and applicants are invited to a meeting to discuss their placement.

The academic year typically runs from early September to mid-July, with standard autumn, spring, and summer terms. The school observes half-term breaks in October, February, and May, as well as Christmas and Easter holidays. The campus closes for the annual British Grand Prix, and specific dates are designated for teacher training (INSET) days.
