Admissions
Tanglin Trust School is an oversubscribed, not-for-profit institution that uses a holistic review process to select students who will contribute positively to the school community. Applications may be submitted up to three years in advance, with entry strongly encouraged at the Nursery level. Applicants must demonstrate age-appropriate fluency in English, as there is no provision for students requiring significant English language support, and must be able to thrive in a high-achieving, mainstream environment. Additional requirements apply to Singapore citizens, and all applicants must reside with at least one English-speaking parent in Singapore.
Calendar
The school operates on a three-term academic year, with the 2026/27 academic year beginning on 18 August 2026. The October half-term break for 2026 is scheduled from 12 October to 23 October. Daily school hours are 8:15 am – 1:45/2:50 pm for the Infant School, 8:10 am – 2:50 pm for the Junior School, and 8:30 am – 2:50 pm for the Senior School.
