In addition to the core curriculum, the school implements specific programmes such as the SIS IT Curriculum and the SIS Writing Curriculum.

Students graduate with a combination of the Brazilian curriculum and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, alongside preparation for the national exam (ENEM). This dual qualification allows graduates to pursue further education at universities in Brazil or internationally. Alumni have gone on to pursue diverse paths, including academic roles at institutions such as MIT.

The Brasília campus, located near the Dona Sara Kubitschek city park, includes a sports court, a gym, a library, laboratories, and green areas. The Escola Nova by SIS campus in Rio de Janeiro is a spacious facility capable of accommodating nearly 1,000 students, while the ESB Rio de Janeiro campus is situated near the Floresta da Tijuca. A new campus in the Belvedere area of Belo Horizonte is scheduled to open in 2027.

The school offers a variety of sports activities, including the SIS-Cup, an annual event that brings together students from across the SIS group of schools. Students also participate in national and international cultural trips starting from the fourth year, which are designed to foster team integration, autonomy, and responsibility.
