Skrødstrup Efterskole is a smaller residential school for students in 9th and 10th grade, offering a personalized academic year through a combination of unique subjects, classes, and international travel.
Curriculum
Teaching approach
Skrødstrup Efterskole is a Christian-based school that emphasizes community, personal development, and inclusivity. It aims to create a supportive environment where students can grow academically and socially, regardless of their starting point. The school values the creation of unique experiences and fosters a sense of belonging for all students.
Programmes
The school offers 9th-grade (9. Choice) and 10th-grade (10. Choice) tracks that prepare students for standard examinations. It also provides a 10th-grade option called 10. All In, which is a non-examination track that includes an international study trip to California. Instruction is niveaudelt (leveled) and conducted in smaller groups to support individual learning paths.
Student support
Learning support
The school actively practices inclusion by offering differentiated instruction and smaller class sizes to accommodate students with varying academic needs. In many classrooms, two teachers are present to provide additional support and ensure all students can participate in the community. The school also offers local financial support for families who face economic challenges.
