Sportsefterskolen Sine

The school is built upon four core values: ambition, community, presence, and decency. It aims to develop students as whole individuals by balancing rigorous sports training with academic and personal growth, preparing them to be critical, independent, and engaged citizens. The institution operates as an independent school, free from political, religious, or sports-related organizational affiliations.

The school offers 9th and 10th-grade curricula, alongside an International Class. Students choose from nine sports lines: football (boys/girls), handball (boys/girls), ski, badminton, golf, fitness, and dance. Training occurs 5–7 times per week, and the academic program includes options for Cambridge English certification and Goethe-Zertifikat A2 exams.

The school emphasizes a supportive learning environment characterized by clear structure, strong teacher-student relationships, and a commitment to respect and responsibility. It maintains a strict anti-bullying policy and provides access to physiotherapy services for students.

Applications for admission can be submitted up to four years prior to the desired start date, with the application window opening in August. Following a successful application, a non-refundable enrollment fee of 4,500 DKK is required within three weeks to secure a place. Prospective students are required to attend two mandatory visits to the school during the year preceding their enrollment.

The school year spans 42 weeks, beginning in early August and concluding in late June. The academic calendar includes a school-wide ski trip in week 6, and all sports lines participate in a sports-focused trip during the spring.

The campus features extensive sports infrastructure, including four modern sport halls at Klosterhallen, a year-round artificial turf football pitch, and multiple well-maintained football fields with a grandstand. Specialized training facilities include a Goal Station for football, a driving range and bunkers for golf, and the 'SINE Mountain Range' for ski training. Additionally, the school provides both indoor and outdoor fitness centers, padel and tennis courts, and various communal areas, including an 'Oasen' outdoor space and indoor lounges equipped with recreational games.
