The school offers a continuous educational pathway from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in the Nursery through to the Junior and Senior Schools, culminating in the Sixth Form. The curriculum includes a broad range of subjects such as STEM, languages, humanities, and the arts, with A level courses and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) available in the Sixth Form.

St Gabriel’s pupils achieve exceptional academic results, with 95% of A level grades at A*-B and 54% of GCSE grades at 8-9. Beyond academic metrics, the school focuses on personal growth, intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to challenge and question. Pupils move on to a variety of higher education destinations and career paths.

The school provides Individual Needs support to assist pupils throughout their educational journey. This includes clinics to support the curriculum and dedicated staff, such as the SENCO and Individual Needs team, who work to ensure every child receives appropriate teaching and support. Emotional support is also available through a qualified School Counsellor and ELSA-trained staff.

St Gabriel’s welcomes boys and girls from age 6 months into its Nursery, with progression through to the Junior School (Reception to Year 6) and Senior School (Year 7 to Year 11). The school is co-educational in Year 7 and Year 8, with Year 9 and Year 12 (Sixth Form) serving as co-educational entry points. Prospective families are encouraged to visit via open events or individual tours, which include meetings with the Principal or relevant Heads of School.

The school operates on a three-term basis: Autumn, Spring, and Summer. Terms typically begin in early September, early January, and mid-April, with half-term breaks in October, February, and May/June. The school year concludes in early July, and the Nursery maintains a scheduled closure in early August.

Set within 33 acres of parkland landscaped by Capability Brown, the campus includes dedicated spaces for the Nursery, Junior, and Senior schools, as well as the Sixth Form. Facilities include a swimming pool, sports grounds, and an on-site café. The school provides iPads for Junior School pupils and maintains a library and various specialist teaching areas.

The school offers a wide range of staff-led enrichment activities, including choirs, orchestras, dance groups, art clubs, and technology clubs. Pupils participate in sports training, school productions, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Additionally, the school hosts events such as Maths Challenges and provides opportunities for LAMDA lessons and individual instrumental tuition.
