Stellar World School is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School with three campuses in Mumbai: Bandra, Andheri, and Goregaon. It serves students from Nursery through Grade 12, combining the IB curriculum with a proprietary Life Literacy framework.

Teaching approach

The school's educational philosophy focuses on developing "Life Literate Learners" who are prepared for real-world challenges beyond academic grading. It emphasizes five core values: learner-centricity, collaborative engagement, holistic development, risk-taking, and catalytic motivation. The curriculum aims to build practical competencies in areas such as financial management, emotional intelligence, environmental responsibility, legal basics, and nutritional wisdom.

Programmes

The academic pathway spans Preschool (Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG), the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Grades 1 to 5, Middle Years, and the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) for Grades 11 and 12. The IBDP curriculum requires students to study six academic subjects alongside three core components: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), a 4,000-word Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). The TOK course explores Areas of Knowledge such as Ethics, The Arts, Mathematics, History, Human Sciences, and Natural Sciences, while the preschool and primary stages focus on foundational skills and the school's proprietary Life Literacy framework.

Outcomes

The school prepares students for higher education and career planning through a dedicated counseling programme focused on education, career, and life purpose. Guided by experienced advisors and college counselors, students are supported in building competitive university applications for top domestic and international institutions. The integration of the IB Diploma Programme's core components—such as the Extended Essay and CAS—aims to cultivate scholarly discipline, independent research skills, and global perspectives valued by overseas universities.
