Summerville Advantage Academy is an A-rated institution accredited by Cognia, meeting rigorous standards for leadership, learning, and resource capacity. Many students matriculate to the sister school, Palm Glades Preparatory Academy, for their middle and high school education.

The school provides support for students through a dedicated regional mental health counselor. Additionally, the administration and staff are committed to fostering a supportive environment, with specific procedures in place for addressing student and parent concerns through a structured grievance process.

Summerville Advantage Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Enrollment is conducted annually via an open enrollment period, with a lottery system used if the number of applicants exceeds available vacancies. Preference is given to siblings, children of employees or governing board members, and children of active-duty military families.

The school operates on a standard academic calendar, typically beginning in mid-August and concluding in the spring. Daily hours are 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade, and 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM for 3rd through 5th Grade. Before and after-school care is available through the Edventure program from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Located in Homestead, Florida, the campus provides a safe and nurturing environment for elementary students. The school features classrooms designed for collaborative learning and offers transportation services for students living between two and four miles from the campus.

The school offers various clubs and activities designed to enrich the student experience. These programs are intended to foster student engagement and provide opportunities for personal growth outside of the traditional classroom setting.
