The school offers a broad curriculum based on British and international standards, including the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, Cambridge IGCSEs, and BTEC qualifications. Instruction is primarily in English, with Mongolian taught from the start of Junior School and a third language—such as Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, or Russian—introduced from Grade 6. The school is divided into Preschool, Junior School, Secondary School, and the Lawson Hill Sixth Form.

Graduates from the school pursue higher education globally, with recent students securing admissions and scholarships at international institutions such as NYU Shanghai. The school emphasizes the development of independent thinking, analytical skills, and global citizenship among its students.

The school employs a dedicated Pastoral Lead in each section, supported by a network of Form Tutors, safeguarding officers, counsellors, and psychologists. This team provides personalised wellbeing support to ensure students remain safe and engaged in their learning.

The school manages admissions through a structured process, with Grade 1 applications involving potential interviews and Grades 2-11 requiring English and Mathematics proficiency testing. Applicants must provide documentation including birth certificates, parent identification, and, for international students, passport copies and previous academic transcripts. A non-refundable registration fee is required for all new enrollments.

The academic year includes a summer break, which for the 2026 period runs from June 6 to August 16. The school operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with daily hours from 8:00 AM to 16:00 PM.

The campus features a sports hall for basketball, volleyball, tennis, and gymnastics, with plans for expanded outdoor facilities including a 7v7 football field and additional courts. The Lawson Hill Centre serves as an academic hub for Sixth Form students, housing science labs, an art studio, a concert studio, and a fitness room. Other facilities include the Kublai Hall for assemblies and events, a dining hall, and a main yard featuring a statue of Y.Tsedenbal.

The school offers a diverse enrichment programme including martial arts, sports, drama, crafts, chess, and robotics. Students participate in residential study trips within Mongolia and internationally, as well as sports tours and language-focused excursions. Leadership opportunities are available through roles such as Prefects, Student Council members, and House Captains.
