The program is a true dual-lingual curriculum taught in both French and English, with Spanish introduced as a third language in 6th grade. The academic framework integrates Common Core State Standards in language arts and mathematics while utilizing second language acquisition as a vehicle for content learning.

The school follows a rolling admissions process with a priority deadline of January 31. Applicants must submit an application form, transcripts, and teacher recommendations by February 15, with decision notifications sent in early March. Financial aid is available for students in Kindergarten and above, with separate application deadlines for returning and new families.

The school operates on a traditional academic calendar with specific deadlines for applications and financial aid. It also offers seasonal enrichment programs, including October, February, April, and summer camps. Yearly events are held throughout the academic year to engage the school community.

Located at 75 John Street in Providence, Rhode Island, the campus provides space for a range of academic and extracurricular activities. FASRI provides a variety of enrichment programs, including before and after-school care and after-school clubs. Students participate in diverse activities such as music, art, and sports, including kayaking. The school also hosts signature events like the La Course 5K and the Le Rendez-Vous Gala.
