The Guidance House aims to be a center of excellence that fosters the academic, creative, personal, social, physical, moral, and spiritual development of its students. It is dedicated to nurturing resilient, adaptable, and responsible global citizens who are spiritually balanced and committed to life-long learning.

The school offers a comprehensive academic programme ranging from early years to A' Level. It is registered with the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpur and the University of Cambridge, offering IGCSE and A' Level subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Accounting, Business, and Computer Science. Additionally, the school provides specialized programmes including 'Read and Understand Qura'n' and 'Smart Brain'.

The school promotes a 'No Tuition' policy and provides opportunities for academic scholarships at the IGCSE and A' Level stages based on merit. It maintains a structured administrative and academic support system, including section heads, academic coordinators, and discipline incharges to oversee student development.

Admissions are managed by an Admission Committee, with entry requirements varying by level. Pre-nursery applicants must be 2.5 to 3 years old and toilet trained, while entry into KG through Grade 9 requires a school leaving certificate, previous results, and an admission test. Progression to higher levels, including IGCSE and A' Level, is contingent upon meeting specific academic grade thresholds, attendance requirements, and behavioral standards.

The academic session for the Cambridge section runs from August to July, while the session for Pre-Nursery through Grade 8 runs from April to March. The school operates Monday through Friday, from 07:30 am to 02:00 pm.

The school operates multiple campuses, with the head office located on Main F-2 Road in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir. The Mirpur campus is divided into specialized sections across different buildings, including a Pre-Junior campus for early years, a Junior campus, a Primary campus, and a dedicated Cambridge campus for Grade 7 through A' Level. Facilities include computer and science laboratories, libraries, and separate branches for boys and girls from Grade 7 onwards.
