Thetford Grammar School

The school consistently achieves high academic results, with 100% pass rates at GCSE and A level. Nearly half of GCSE results are graded 9–7, and approximately 60% of A levels are graded A*–A. The majority of Sixth Form students progress to top-tier UK and global universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.

Prospective Prep School pupils are required to spend a day with their year group, while this is optional for Senior School applicants. Offers are made based on a holistic review of the pupil's ability, approach, and willingness to learn.

The school operates on a three-term structure: Autumn, Spring, and Summer. The 2025/2026 academic year runs from September 4, 2025, to July 3, 2026, and the 2026/2027 academic year runs from September 3, 2026, to July 2, 2027. Each term includes a mid-term break, with winter, spring, and summer holidays separating the terms.

The campus is located in Thetford, Norfolk, and provides a small school setting. Facilities include classrooms for pupils from Nursery to Sixth Form, and the school offers boarding options for students in Years 9 to 13. Dining staff provide school meals, which are included in Pre-Prep fees and available for purchase by older pupils.
