Admissions

About the campus

Located on 11.5 hectares in Mount Eliza, the campus features a mix of heritage buildings and modern facilities. Key amenities include the Swift Science and Technology Centre with science labs and a DIGI Zone, the Marjorie Williams Sport Centre, an athletics track, a hockey pitch, and swimming and diving pools. The campus also houses the Illuminate Centre for Year 9, a Community and Arts Precinct with an 800-seat theatre, and a dedicated Music Centre with rehearsal and recording spaces. Boarding is provided at Joan Ansett Hall.

Co-curriculars

The school offers over 60 co-curricular activities, including more than 27 sports, 20 music groups, and various clubs. Sporting opportunities include Girls Sport Victoria (GSV) interschool competitions, athletics, swimming, and dance. The music program encompasses choirs, orchestras, concerts, and an annual 'Battle of the Bands' competition.

    Mrs Kristy KendallPrincipal

    Mrs Kristy Kendall became the 16th Principal of Toorak College in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Masters in Education from Monash University, and is a Harvard Principal's program graduate. She is also a Master Teacher and Advisory Board Member at Edrolo and Co-Founder and Chief Education Officer at CS in Schools.

    Mrs Fiona Wines has been an integral part of Toorak College for over 30 years. She graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Education and currently serves as the Head of Senior School and Deputy Principal.

    Mrs Melissa SchoormanHead of Wardle House, Deputy Principal

    Mrs Melissa Schoorman holds a Bachelor of Education (Primary) from The University of Melbourne and previously served as Senior Deputy Head of Campus and Head of Junior School at Haileybury City campus. She has worked with staff and students in remote Indigenous communities to improve literacy and numeracy outcomes.
