Union Day School is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in grades K-12 in the greater Charlotte Metroplex. It is the only charter school in North Carolina authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years and Diploma Programmes.

Admissions

Union Day School utilizes a randomized lottery system for K-12 admissions, with applications typically opening in November for the following academic year. While all applications are weighted equally, the school provides enrollment priority for siblings of currently enrolled students, children of full-time staff, and children of board members, subject to specific percentage caps.
