Curriculum
Aspris is a provider of specialist education and care services for children and young people aged 4-25 with complex needs, including autism spectrum conditions and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. It operates a network of schools, colleges, and children’s homes designed to provide safe, nurturing environments that raise potential.
Curriculum
Teaching approach
Aspris operates on the belief that every young person has potential, focusing on unlocking this through specialist care, education, and support. The organisation is guided by values of dedication, resilience, being uplifting, aspiration, and courage. It prioritises a trauma-informed approach, ensuring that care and education are tailored to the unique learning profiles, strengths, and challenges of each individual.
Programmes
The academic offering is divided into four modalities: Autism Sensory, Autism Academic, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), and Colleges. These programmes range from early reading skills to GCSE-level texts, with curricula adapted to include emotional literacy, social communication, and resilience. The provision is highly structured, utilising small class sizes and personalised learning pathways to support students from age 4 through to 25.
Student support
Learning support
Support is delivered by multidisciplinary teams of therapists and specialists, with individualised pathways guided by Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The approach is rooted in trauma-informed practice and frameworks from the National Autistic Society or the Autism Education Trust. Highly qualified practitioners provide consistent emotional regulation strategies, speech and language therapy, and tailored interventions to meet complex needs.

The organisation works in partnership with parents, guardians, and Local Authorities to ensure that placements meet the diverse needs of children and young people. Prospective families and authorities can reach out via dedicated email addresses or the central contact line to initiate enquiries.
About the campus
The organisation operates a network of 28 schools, 4 colleges, and 61 children’s homes. Educational settings are purposely designed to be safe, nurturing, and low-arousal, featuring dedicated spaces for therapy and multi-sensory learning. These environments are structured to regulate sensory input and provide a calm, purposeful atmosphere for academic and emotional growth.
Co-curriculars
The curriculum integrates life skills, vocational training, and personal development to prepare students for adulthood. Activities are designed to build independence, social confidence, and resilience, often embedded into the daily routine to ensure students feel safe expressing themselves. Programmes are tailored to support transitions into further education or employment.
