Woodside School

Woodside School is a bilingual, integral, and humanistic institution that aims to form respectful, authentic, and tolerant individuals. The school offers a bilingual international curriculum spanning from Initial Education through Primary and Secondary levels, culminating in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Students in the final years (Senior 4, 5, and 6) can pursue a double qualification, combining the IB Diploma with the National Diversified Baccalaureate. The academic programme includes the IB core components: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS), and the Extended Essay. Additionally, the school is affiliated with Cambridge Assessment International Education from primary level through to 4th year of secondary school.

The school operates across three distinct campuses in Punta del Este: the main Woodside site, the Initial Education site, and the Pre-U site. The facilities are designed to support a diverse range of activities, including sports fields, art and music spaces, and a school garden. The institution emphasizes a healthy environment and has implemented a policy to be a cell-phone-free space across all levels.

The school offers a wide range of activities including arts, music, yoga, theater, choirs, bands, chess, cinema, literary workshops, and entrepreneurship. Sports play a central role, with opportunities for participation in hockey, football, rugby, tennis, swimming, handball, yachting, acrobatic silks, physical training, and athletics.
