Premier International School

Premier International School is a non-denominational Christian institution that emphasizes Biblical values, such as the Fruit of the Spirit and the 10 Commandments, without strict indoctrination. It aims to raise emotionally well-rounded individuals who are prepared to contribute to society with creativity and integrity. The school fosters a multi-cultural perspective by exposing students to the cultures of their peers and staff, and by maintaining an immersive bilingual environment.

The school provides a continuum of education starting with Premier Preschool (ages 8 weeks to 4 years) and continuing through Premier Elementary (Kindergarten to 5th grade). The elementary curriculum is based on the Abeka Book system, which emphasizes consistent reinforcement of subjects, including print and cursive writing, and early literacy. A native Spanish-speaking teacher is present in every classroom to facilitate bilingual learning from infancy through 5th grade.

The school prioritizes transparency and partners with parents to develop comprehensive, realistic plans for each student's success. Administration is available to communicate with parents throughout the day via the Brightwheel app. The school is also experienced in navigating the complexities of sensory discomfort during child development.

The school accepts enrollment applications upon request, subject to limited availability. It participates in the Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County, including School Readiness and Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK) programs, and accepts scholarships from the Step Up For Students Program. Tuition for the elementary program is $11,000 per year, which includes all materials, books, and testing fees.

The school operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The elementary school day runs from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Additionally, the school offers a summer camp program from June 1st to July 31st.

The campus features a 5,000-square-foot addition and is equipped with over 30 security cameras to ensure student safety. The environment is designed to support early childhood and elementary education, with dedicated spaces for interactive learning and creative exploration.

The school provides an all-inclusive extracurricular program for all ages, including weekly art classes using various mediums and music lessons taught by University of Florida professors. A soccer program is available for children aged 3 to 5th grade to develop teamwork and self-confidence. Students also participate in "Bible Time," which explores Biblical stories and values through interactive discussions and activities. During the summer, the school hosts a camp featuring weekly themes, arts and crafts, and "Splash Days" with water-based activities.
