Al Mawakeb School

The curriculum is based on Massachusetts State Standards and the UAE Ministry of Education requirements, delivered in English with mandatory Arabic and French instruction from K-12. The academic structure spans Kindergarten (Pre-K to KG2), Primary (Grades 1-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and High School (Grades 9-12). High school students have access to elective courses, Advanced Placement (AP) programs, and a STEM program, alongside preparation for international standardized exams such as MAP, CAT4, and TIMSS.

Graduates receive a high school diploma certified by the KHDA, which enables them to pursue higher education at universities worldwide. The school provides guidance on standardized testing, including the PSAT, SAT, TOEFL, and IELTS, to assist students in meeting international university admission requirements. Over 7,000 students have graduated from the school since its inception.

The school provides a range of academic support programs, curriculum modifications, and intervention strategies to address the needs of all students. This includes dedicated support for students with special educational needs, as well as programs designed to identify and nurture gifted and talented students.

Admissions procedures and fee structures are managed individually by each of the three campuses. The schools maintain a flexible admissions policy and are committed to an inclusive environment that supports students with diverse educational needs.

The school operates three campuses in Dubai: Al Garhoud (founded 1979), Al Barsha (founded 1998), and Al Khawaneej (founded 2018). The campuses utilize the 'Learn-Online' eLearning platform and the 'N4B' (Notebooks for Books) initiative, which replaces traditional textbooks with notebook computers for all students in grades 11 and 12.
