Al Dhiya International School

Al Dhiya International School is founded on the belief that education should foster values, nurture creativity, and prepare students to become influential leaders. The academic model combines the Omani national curriculum—which emphasizes Arabic language, Islamic studies, and social studies—with international curricula including Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel. The Cambridge International Programme is delivered at early, primary, and middle levels with a focus on inquiry-based learning and analytical thinking. For senior students, the Pearson Edexcel pathway offers IGCSE and AS Level qualifications.

Prospective families are required to visit the school in person to submit an application. Required documentation includes four passport-sized photographs, copies of the child’s and father’s passports, a birth certificate, a vaccination report, health records, and any previous school leaving certificates. Specific age requirements for entry are 3.2 to 4.2 years for KG1, 4.2 to 5.2 years for KG2, and 5.2 to 6.5 years for Grade 1.

The school operates on a five-day-a-week schedule, Sunday through Thursday, with administrative hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Daily instructional hours are 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for KG1 and KG2, and 7:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. for Grades 1 through 12. Fees for each semester are due within the first week of the term.

The school provides a wide range of sports, cultural, and values-based activities designed to support the physical and mental development of students. These offerings are integrated into the school's broader educational experience to foster a well-rounded environment.
