Annunciation School is a Catholic institution dedicated to inspiring lifelong curiosity and encouraging students to live their faith through service and leadership. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum for grades K-8, featuring core subjects such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Religion, and Social Studies. As an IB World School for grades K-5, it utilizes a transdisciplinary, inquiry-based approach to learning. Students also receive instruction from specialists in Spanish, creative arts, physical education, and computer literacy.

The school employs a Learning Specialist who coaches students on strategies for managing ADD, ADHD, and organizational challenges. An Enrichment Facilitator provides advanced material for students who require support beyond the standard curriculum. Additionally, the school participates in a literacy partnership with Groves Academy and utilizes the "Believe and Read" phonics program for students in grades K-3. Teaching aides and volunteer tutors are available to provide one-on-one support to students.

Annunciation School serves students from Preschool through 8th grade, with a current enrollment of approximately 330 K-8 students and 50 preschool students. The school maintains an average class size of 16 to 22 students, with two classes per grade level. Prospective families are encouraged to visit and tour the campus to learn more about the admissions process.

The school operates on a standard academic schedule with daily hours from 8:00 am to 2:45 pm. Extended day services are available, including before-care from 7:00 am to 7:50 am and after-care from 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm.

The campus features a gymnasium and a library staffed by a librarian who provides personalized reading recommendations. Every classroom is equipped with Promethean "Smart Boards" to facilitate real-time, technology-integrated learning. The school shares its location in South Minneapolis with the Annunciation Church.

Students have access to a wide range of enrichment activities beyond the classroom, including Art Adventure, an Artist-in-Residence program, and a school-wide Christmas program. Academic and competitive clubs include a Math Club, Quiz Bowl, Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, and the Maud Hart Lovelace Book Awards. Additionally, the school organizes various field trips, a 6th-grade environmental camp, and a Minnesota Zoo overnight experience.
