Mrs. Brogan-Brown, known to students as Mrs. Brogan, earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls in 2022 and initially joined Sejong Academy as the Lower School Counselor. She transitioned into the role of Dean of Students, where she works to promote a positive school culture, support student success, and foster a safe learning environment. Her approach emphasizes relationship-building, problem-solving, and the social-emotional well-being of students.
Yejin HongDirector of Korean Immersion Program & Upper School Korean Language Arts TeacherMs. Hong grew up in Seoul, South Korea, and studied Journalism and Mass Communication at Sogang University, later earning master’s and doctoral degrees from the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Now in her sixth year at Sejong Academy, she serves as the Director of the Korean Immersion Program and an Upper School Korean Language Arts Teacher. She provides leadership for the school’s Korean language curriculum and is passionate about helping students discover the joy of language learning.
- Suhyun NaAssistant Director of Special Education
Suhyun Na earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees in Special Education from Ewha Womans University in Korea. Before joining Sejong Academy, she worked as a special education teacher and university lecturer, conducting research and publishing scholarly work. At Sejong, she has served in various roles including ADSIS Reading Teacher and Coordinator, and she now oversees the school’s special education program as the Assistant Director of Special Education.
Hyein LeeLower School Instructional Coach and Elementary Division LeadHyein Lee holds degrees from Sookmyung Women’s University and Yonsei University and brings over 20 years of teaching and performance experience to Sejong Academy. She has served in multiple roles at the school, including kindergarten teacher, Korean Language Coordinator, PLC Leader, and Elementary Lead Teacher. In her current role, she supports teachers through professional development, curriculum planning, and instructional guidance.
