Dodi International School

The school is guided by the values of curiosity, courage, compassion, creativity, and community. It aims to nurture curious minds and empower students to think independently, lead with purpose, and act with empathy. The educational approach is inquiry-led and hands-on, focusing on both academic rigour and character development.

The school follows the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum from Early Years through to Secondary. The Early Years programme (ages 16 months to 5 years) uses a Montessori-inspired, play-based approach. The Primary programme (ages 5–11) covers core subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, and ICT, alongside languages and humanities. The Lower Secondary (ages 11–14) and Upper Secondary (ages 14–16) phases prepare students for IGCSE exams, with core language offerings including French and Mandarin.

The school maintains a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio to ensure individual attention and support. It provides a nurturing environment where students are known by name and supported in their unique academic and social-emotional journeys.

Admissions are open throughout the year, though early application before September is encouraged. The process involves submitting an application form with a fee, followed by an entrance assessment and family interview. For Early Years, this is an observation-based readiness assessment, while Primary 1 through Form 4 students are assessed in English and Mathematics. Lower Sixth applicants submit IGCSE or equivalent results instead of an entrance exam.

The school operates on a trimester system running from September to June. The school calendar includes various student-focused events such as Career Day, Twin Day, and Sports Jersey Day, which are designed to celebrate the school's core values.

The school is located in Tema Community 5, with a serene campus surrounded by greenery. Facilities include classrooms, a dedicated Upper Secondary annex in Tema Community 10, and an on-site kitchen providing healthy meals. A purpose-built Secondary campus is scheduled for its first phase launch in September 2025.

The school offers over 31 clubs and activities to foster student interests and personal growth. Enrichment opportunities include annual field trips, in-house experiences, and specific after-school courses such as Arabic. S.T.E.A.M. education is integrated into the curriculum through project-based learning, hands-on experiments, and the use of new technologies.
