The school is an authorized IB World School offering the full IB continuum: the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 3-12, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11-16, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for students aged 16-19. Admissions for the Primary Campus open annually on 1 April, while applications for the secondary campus (Grades 7, 8, 9, and 11) open on 1 October. The process is managed online via OpenApply and includes an aptitude test for secondary applicants and a social readiness screening for primary students. Prospective families are encouraged to schedule a campus tour, and secondary applicants must provide previous academic reports, with Grade 11 candidates also submitting predicted grades and a recommendation letter.

The school operates on an academic calendar that includes regular terms and a summer break, which typically runs from early June to early August. The school maintains a busy schedule of events, including leadership inductions, sports championships, and annual school productions. The school operates on two campuses: a primary site for Kindergarten to Grade 6 and a main campus for secondary students (Grades 7-12), which includes residential boarding facilities. Sports are a major focus through the Tema International School Sports Association (TISSA), featuring athletics, swimming, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, soccer, handball, and basketball. Additionally, students participate in Model United Nations (MUN), debating, and various service-learning projects.
