Bahr Academy

The school’s mission is to reconnect students with the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah while fostering academic excellence. The academic programme combines National Curriculum subjects with a daily Islamic studies curriculum divided into Aqaa’id (Beliefs), Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Seerah (History), and Aadaab (Etiquettes). At Key Stage 3, students study subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, History, ICT, Urdu, Arabic, Art, and Music. Key Stage 4 students work toward eight GCSEs, with subjects including English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Urdu, History, and Citizenship. Additionally, the school offers a 7-year Alimiyyah Programme, which provides an intensive study of Hadith, Fiqh, Tafsir, and Arabic.
