Bancroft’s welcomes applications for entry at 7+, 11+, and 16+. The admissions process includes entrance examinations and interviews to ensure the school is the right environment for prospective pupils. The school offers bursaries for 11+ and 16+ entry, subject to a confidential assessment of household income, and provides scholarships and awards for qualifying students.

The campus is located in Woodford Green, Essex, and features extensive facilities for academic and co-curricular pursuits. These include dedicated spaces for sports, arts, and science, as well as a library and specialized classrooms. The Prep School has a separate entrance located on Whitehall Road, approximately 300 feet from the main Senior School entrance.

The school offers a wide range of co-curricular activities, including sports such as athletics, badminton, cricket, football, hockey, netball, rugby, swimming, and tennis. Pupils can also participate in the arts, including visual arts, drama, and music, as well as outdoor activities like the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE), and Sea Scouts. Additional opportunities include trips, visits, and various clubs.
