Fundacion Privada Oak House School

Oak House School is a non-profit foundation dedicated to providing an excellent education grounded in integrity, compassion, and a thirst for knowledge. The school emphasizes a strong home-school partnership and fosters learner dispositions such as intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, resilience, and personal responsibility. Its mission is to nurture both academic excellence and strong personal values in every student.

The school offers a comprehensive educational pathway from Early Years (ages 3-4) through Primary (ages 5-11), Secondary (ages 12-16), and Bachillerato/IB Diploma Programme (ages 16-18). The curriculum is designed to make students trilingual, with options for a fourth language, and includes a focus on oracy, STEM projects, and sustainability. The Bachillerato programme prepares students for national or international university studies, while the IB Diploma Programme is taught in English.

The school reports high academic achievement, with the 2025 IB cohort achieving an average of 36 points and a 97% pass rate. Bachillerato students achieved a 100% pass rate in 2025, with an average score of 7.21/10. Graduates go on to pursue higher education at both national and international levels.

The Inclusion and Wellbeing department provides additional support to students with specific learning needs, offering both extra guidance and additional challenges. The school also maintains a dedicated space for the school nurse to provide medical attention and care during the school day.

The school manages admissions through an online application process, with no associated application fees. Candidates from Year 3 onwards must complete entry tests in English, Spanish, and Mathematics, while younger applicants meet with the academic and wellbeing departments. The school offers group guided tours and information sessions throughout the academic year, with individual tours reserved for families once a place becomes available.

The school year is divided into 11 payment instalments, with the first payment due in July and the remainder from September to June. The school operates throughout the academic year, with admissions and tours scheduled on a regular basis.

The campus features eight distinct buildings, including an original 1968 tower and a 2015 facility for Bachillerato and IB students that incorporates a green roof. Athletic facilities include two basketball courts, two football courts, two indoor gyms, an indoor swimming pool, and a climbing wall. Other amenities include three science laboratories, an auditorium, an outdoor amphitheatre, seven music rooms, and a refurbished dining area with kitchen facilities.

The school provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, including swimming, various sports, and music programmes. Enrichment opportunities include the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, CAS for IB students, debate and Model United Nations (MUN), work experience, and various professional information sessions. Additionally, the school hosts events and provides opportunities for students to engage in arts, drama, and literature.
