About the campus

Set in 250 acres of Berkshire countryside, the campus features a range of facilities including a sports complex, a golf club, and a historic Greek Theatre. The school is currently developing a new Health and Wellness Centre, scheduled to open in Autumn 2027, to support the physical and mental wellbeing of the community. The campus also houses a library, dedicated art and photography studios, and various boarding houses that provide a home-from-home environment.

Co-curriculars

The co-curricular programme is designed to develop skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication outside the classroom. Offerings include the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), outward-bound expeditions, and a variety of academic societies that facilitate intellectual inquiry. Pupils also participate in drama, including LAMDA, music, with over 325 individual lessons weekly, and a comprehensive sports programme that includes football, hockey, cricket, tennis, and swimming.

    Owen Adams is the Chief Operating Officer responsible for operational functions and strategy. He previously served as Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Durham University and spent 30 years in the British Army, including roles as Head of the Royal School of Artillery.

    Patrick Sinclair joined Bradfield in August 2024 as Finance Director for The Bradfield Group. He is a chartered accountant who previously worked at 3t and has extensive experience as a CFO in both public and private sectors.

    Andy Logan was appointed Second Master in September 2017. He holds a BA in Geography from the University of Manchester and a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Buckingham.

    Alexandra Acton has been Senior Deputy Head (External Relations) since 2000, overseeing marketing and admissions. She joined the College in 1993 and played a key role in the transition to full co-education in 2005.

    Jamie Emmett became Deputy Head (Academic) in September 2025, having previously served as Director of Teaching and Learning. He joined the College in 2019 as Head of French and holds Chartered Manager status.

    Richard Penny joined as Deputy Head (Pastoral) in September 2022 from Cheltenham College. He is a Geography graduate who served ten years in the Armed Forces before moving into education.
