Admissions

The school evaluates applicants individually based on academic aptitude, motivation, and English proficiency, as it is not an English-as-a-foreign-language school. Students must live with a parent or legal guardian in Japan and provide their own devices. Enrollment is currently limited to existing grade-level classes, excluding grades 11 and 12, as the school is scheduled to close in 2029.

Calendar

The academic year is divided into three terms: Fall (late August to mid-December), Winter (early January to mid-March), and Spring (early April to late June). Fees are deducted from designated bank accounts in September, January, and April.

About the campus

Located in the Kansai Science City, the campus occupies the fourth floor of the Doshisha International Academy building and features a library with nearly 20,000 books, a science lab, an art room, a music room, and a chapel. Outdoor facilities include a gym, a ground, and a terrace, with grounds that overlook the surrounding mountains.

Co-curriculars

Students participate in a variety of activities, including the Student Council, Model United Nations, and math competitions such as the Kansai Math Olympics. The school also organizes study trips and expeditions, including annual ski trips, and encourages service through its Service as Action programme.
