IDEA Early Learning Center is an inclusive early childhood provider in Dubai Sports City serving children aged 9 months to 6 years. It utilizes the Creative Curriculum to promote holistic development through play-based, inquiry-led experiences.

Teaching approach

The school focuses on play-based, inquiry-led learning designed to foster independence, curiosity, and critical thinking. It aims to create a safe, nurturing "home away from home" where strong relationships between children, families, and staff are prioritized to ensure children feel valued and secure.

Programmes

The school implements the Creative Curriculum, which is aligned with the United States Federal Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework and Common Core State Standards. The programme spans from infancy through Kindergarten, focusing on literacy, language development, and developmental milestones. The curriculum is supported by the Gold assessment tool to track individual progress, and the school offers instruction in music, art, and languages, including Arabic and French.

About the campus

The campus features classrooms designed for age-appropriate, child-initiated investigative play, including soft play, sensory equipment, and cozy quiet areas for younger children. Facilities include an indoor exploration zone, well-equipped outdoor playgrounds with spaces for trikes, climbing, and mud-play, a growing-garden, and an on-site clinic with a nurse. Each classroom is equipped with an age-appropriate library and technology, such as iPads, cameras, and digital boards.

Co-curriculars

The center offers extra-curricular activities and holiday camps to supplement the core programme. These activities are designed to provide additional opportunities for exploration and engagement outside of the standard daily routine.
