Paddington Nursery

The nursery follows a child-centred and play-based approach to learning, adapted to the needs of each individual child. It focuses on holistic development, prioritising emotional wellbeing, social awareness, and physical growth alongside academic foundations. The environment is designed to be nurturing, safe, and stimulating to encourage curiosity and independence.

The nursery follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for children from 45 days to 5 years old, divided into age-specific stages: 0-1 years (The very beginning), 1-2 years (Social development), 2-3 years (Growing confidence), 3-4 years (Foundations of learning), and 4-5 years (Prepared for big school). The curriculum covers core areas such as literacy, numeracy, scientific exploration, physical development, and creative arts. Additionally, the nursery offers a summer camp programme featuring themed weeks focused on global cultures, arts, and sensory activities.

Paddington Nursery has supported over 350 graduates since 2014, with 100% of its students successfully transitioning into international schools in Dubai. The nursery maintains partnerships with several schools, including Regents International School, Sunmarke School, and Dove Green School, which offer special considerations for Paddington graduates.

The nursery employs a team of educated and experienced professionals who provide a child-centred and play-based approach to learning. Progress is monitored through an app that allows parents to view updates on their child's meals, sleep, and daily activities, as well as access evaluation and progress reports.

Enrolment for the 2026/2027 academic year is currently open. Due to high demand from families in JLT and the surrounding areas, availability is limited and early reservation is encouraged. Prospective families are invited to book a tour or contact the nursery to request a price list.

The nursery operates all year round, including during academic breaks when it hosts holiday camps. It also offers occasional 'stay and play' sessions for children aged 1 to 5 years old during holidays. The centre is open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The campus features bright, spacious classrooms equipped with educational resources and floor-to-ceiling windows. Indoor facilities include a roomy gym for sports and an indoor playground designed for use during warmer months. The nursery is located adjacent to a park in JLT, providing access to outdoor playgrounds and lawns for fresh air and activities during cooler weather.

Paddington Nursery offers a variety of enrichment activities, including daily Arabic language sessions that incorporate songs, stories, and games. Weekly extracurricular options include classical ballet, football, robotics, and woodcraft. Additionally, the nursery provides specialised language programmes on Saturdays and afternoons to support native language development or the introduction of a second or third language.
