The calendar includes three terms: an Autumn Term (September to December), a Spring Term (January to March), and a Summer Term (April to June). Mid-term breaks are scheduled in October and February, and the centre observes public and religious holidays as announced by the Ministry.

About the campus

Located in Al Barsha 1, behind the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, the campus features specialized facilities to support students of determination. These include a sensory play area, a motion drama facility, a student library, a research library, and a smart unit. The centre also provides an orthotics clinic and dedicated spaces for therapeutic services.

Students participate in a variety of activities designed to foster social engagement and skill development. These include music, art, swimming and aquatic therapy, and photography. The centre also provides vocational training through workshops in carpentry, printing, gardening, textiles, and baking, and operates a student tuck shop and a heritage room.
