Espacio VIVO is an active, "living" school that places children at the center of their own learning process, respecting their needs and fostering their capabilities. Its pedagogy is rooted in the Paradigm of Neurodiversity, the active school principles of Rebeca Wild, the care-based pedagogy of Emmi Pikler, the Reggio Emilia approach, and the psychomotor practice of Bernard Aucouturier. The school emphasizes a respectful, collaborative environment where children are viewed as competent, active, and autonomous individuals.

The school provides a bilingual education (English immersion) for children aged 3 to 12, covering the second cycle of infant education (3-6 years) and compulsory primary education (6-12 years). The curriculum is based on experiential learning, where students engage in projects and activities driven by their own interests and curiosity. The academic approach avoids traditional textbooks in favor of direct experience and active participation in various specialized workshops.

These areas are organized into zones dedicated to science, arts, electronics, laboratory work, reading, and cooking. The exterior grounds include extensive gardens and a vegetable patch, designed to encourage exploration, movement, and a connection with nature.

These include workshops in art, science experiments, tool usage, sewing, music, and cooking, all conducted within dedicated learning spaces.
