Gateway International Montessori School

Gateway International Montessori School provides a holistic, challenging learning experience that emphasizes independence and child-led development. The school is a K-12 institution that grants eligible students an American High School Diploma upon graduation. It is an official SAT test center, supporting students in their university preparation. The school accepts applications online, followed by a parent interview and a child assessment. Required documentation includes a completed application form, the student's original birth certificate, passport-sized photographs, parent IDs, and previous academic reports. Final acceptance is confirmed upon payment of registration fees and the completion of necessary consent forms.

The school operates on a Sunday to Thursday schedule, with hours from 09:30 to 14:30. The campus is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

Located in the Katameya Gardens compound in New Cairo, the campus features outdoor work environments for classrooms, a commercial kitchen, and comprehensive libraries. Sports and arts facilities include a gym, an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a theater, art and music rooms, and various science labs. The grounds also incorporate gardens, rooftop gardens, and a labyrinth.

Students participate in a variety of activities including sports teams such as football and volleyball, and arts programmes. The school hosts events like science fairs, spelling bees, talent shows, and book fairs. Additionally, students engage in community service initiatives, such as visiting senior homes and conducting field research.
