Great Grace International School

Great Grace International School is founded on a Christian worldview, which serves as the framework for understanding all subjects, including science, history, and mathematics. The school is guided by three core values: morality, discipline, and respect. The school offers a comprehensive K-12 curriculum that integrates vocabulary instruction and speaking opportunities into every lesson. It serves as an authorized test center for SAT and AP exams. The school provides an intensified, pull-out English as an Additional Language (EAL) program for novice English speakers, which includes daily instruction and progress tracking. Small class sizes, capped at 20 students, allow for individualized instruction and increased teacher-student interaction to support academic success.

The admission process begins with an application and includes testing for non-native English speakers to determine their language level. Prospective families are encouraged to schedule a tour of the campus. Admission decisions are based on specific criteria outlined in the school's admission policy, and families must sign an Educational Service Agreement and a Financial Agreement upon enrollment.

The academic year is divided into two semesters, each containing two quarters. The 2026-2027 school year begins with orientation and open house events in late August 2026 and concludes on June 14, 2027. Regular school hours are Monday through Friday, 8:20 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with a late start for the Upper School on Thursdays.

Located in the leafy Budagyongye area of Budapest, the campus features two buildings, with Building B housing the Upper School (grades 7-12). Facilities include larger classrooms, a cafe, a mud room, a library, and an EAL wing equipped with a language lab. The school also provides expansive outdoor areas for student use.

The school offers various annual events to build community, including a Family Fair, a Harvest Party, and seasonal concerts. Upper School students participate in an annual three-day retreat in the Hungarian countryside focused on team-building and character development. Additionally, students have access to after-school clubs and athletic opportunities.
