American Creativity Academy

The school is dedicated to preparing students for university success by delivering a standards-based American curriculum within an environment where Islamic values are respected and practiced. It emphasizes character development, critical and creative thinking, and the education of the whole child, viewing learning as a lifelong process.

The school offers a comprehensive academic program spanning Kindergarten through Grade 12, including an IB program. The curriculum is standards-based, focusing on specific content and performance criteria, and is managed using Atlas software to ensure continuous review and development. Core subjects are supplemented by instruction in Arabic, Islam, technology, and foreign languages.

The school provides a range of specialist support, including English as a Second Language (ESL) professionals for KG through elementary students and a learning center for elementary students. Additionally, the staff includes counselors, college counselors, nurses, and librarians to support student well-being and academic progress.

Admission is based on age requirements, previous academic records, and performance on an entrance exam. Applicants for Pre-KG through Grade 12 must meet specific age cut-offs by December 31st, and students in Grade 1 and above undergo an admission test to evaluate their academic skills, English proficiency, and math readiness. The school reserves the right to deny testing for middle and high school applicants and requires accepted students to attend within the first four days of the academic year.

The school year follows a standard academic calendar, with new students required to attend within the first four days of the official start date. The school maintains a policy where students who fail to attend for the first ten days may be withdrawn.

The school operates two main campuses in Hawalli and Salmiya. Facilities include smartboard-equipped classrooms, multiple libraries, science laboratories, computer labs, and art rooms across all divisions. Sports facilities feature regulation-sized soccer fields, basketball courts, and a large swimming pool, while the Girls' Campus includes a "Garden Oasis," an auditorium, and dedicated prayer areas.

The school offers a variety of activities including clubs, intramural sports, academic games, and service learning. Students participate in events such as robotics competitions, science fairs, and arts programs, with many teachers actively involved in leading these after-school activities.
